These bunches of scrawny kailan were harvested on week 11 and 12. Was trying to thin out some of the crop to better tackle the aphid infestation. After flushing out the pesties and removing the affected parts (the process takes a whole lot longer than cleaning up commercial vege!), it looked pretty ok. A bit hole-y and chomped up but heh they are ORGANIC hurhur.
Used some for stirfry but found the thin stalks deceptively fibrous. Maybe they needed a couple of more weeks to ‘beef up’.
