Was gifted some of these seeds from Uncle David and thought it might be interesting to see how a melon grows. I’d read that they are creepers and produce an interesting fibrous melon that resembled shark fin. It had been a long while since I last tasted such melons.
2 seeds were planted in a pot and placed next to a fence. A 4 metre trellis was installed to let the plant grow. But at this point, I am unsure if it will contend to just the space on the trellis. It has been growing really quickly and within 6 weeks they have reached half of the trellis. The wife has decided to name it Audrey after the star in Little Shop of Horrors.
